Mouse Anti-Human Vimentin

• Vimentin is an intermediate filament protein vital to the cytoskeleton, a structure that maintains cell shape, stability, and integrity. It is expressed in mesenchymal cells and plays critical roles in processes such as:

  • Cellular migration
  • Wound healing
  • Epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in cancer progression

  Purification

  This antibody is purified via immunoaffinity chromatography using a KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide derived from vimentin protein. The immunogen peptide was coupled to Sepharose 4B for enhanced purification.

    • Store at -20°C upon receipt.
    • Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
    • The product is stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid.
  • Storage Buffer:
    • Phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing stabilizer and ≤0.09% sodium azide.

  For extended storage, aliquot and freeze at -20°C or below. If the product is not completely clear after standing at room temperature, centrifuge before use.
