Mouse Anti-Human Beta-Actin
- Background
- Product Details
- Storage & Handling
- Applications
Beta-actin, a non-muscle cytoskeletal protein, is essential for maintaining the structure and motility of eukaryotic cells. It plays a key role in cell movement, division, and integrity. Beta-actin, along with gamma-actin, coexists in most cell types and forms part of the cytoskeleton. Due to its ubiquitous expression in all eukaryotic cells, it is frequently used as a loading control in protein assays, particularly Western blotting. Beta-actin is often used in cancer research and cell biology to assess the intracellular distribution of actin and its role in various cellular processes, including cytokinesis, stress responses, and apoptotic conditions.

Overview
Mouse Anti-Human Beta-Actin is a monoclonal antibody targeting the beta-actin protein, which is a key component of the cytoskeleton in eukaryotic cells. Beta-actin is involved in cell motility, structure, and integrity. It is ubiquitously expressed in all human cells and is commonly used as a loading control in protein assays, including Western Blotting, due to its consistent expression. This antibody is ideal for studying the intracellular distribution of beta-actin and its role in cell structure dynamics.
